Here in the Midwest, it’s just starting to cool off a bit. It’s also been dreary and rainy. I find this song a good reflection of this weather. Also, a good song to pen a poem… we’ll see what happens!

I really enjoy writing to this song. Especially if I am writing poetry. This is one of my favorite classical pieces (for today anyway!).

Happy October everyone!

I hope this finds you well today.

Not sure what your routine is, but when I sit down to read or pen, I tend to put on instrumental music. Often times, this tends to be jazz or classical. For a while, I was seeing “Lofi Beats” popping up, but didn’t pay much attention to it. Finally one day, I decided to check this music out and tapped “Christian Lofi Music” into the search bar. I will say, I have found some songs I really enjoy. Many times, on YouTube at least, these videos will be a playlist and will go for an hour or longer which is nice when trying to focus on the task at hand.

For this song share, I decided to share one of the shorter ones I and my children have been enjoying. Hope you enjoy.

Song Share | Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken

Good day dear friend!,

I first heard this song a few years ago in a worship service and just really appreciated it! Since that time, I had forgotten what the song was and who the artist was. After digging for awhile, and coming up short, I even reached out yesterday to my Pastor at that time to see if he could remember the song – even though I didn’t have much information to go off of! And then, it “just so happened” to pop up yesterday “randomly” while I had songs on autoplay in Amazon. I was very excited and thankful to find it again. I’m sure I will be posting it every so often on my Sabbath Day posts, but here it is for your enjoyment/meditation for the time being. May the Lord bless you this day!

Dear reader,

I hope this note finds you well tonight. I pray that you may find peace in the midst of the storm you may be facing – or facing soon.

My heart is full tonight! I have many things racing through my mind that I want to write about; I just can’t seem to organize them. The ink is spilling, but it’s just making some random stain and not, much to my chagrin, an artistic masterpiece. I digress.

Nevertheless, I wanted to be sure to reach out to you. So, I decided to share some songs tonight. Hopefully, there is at least one in this list you haven’t heard before! Blessings and peace to you all!
